Walter Scott Pinot Noir La Combe Vert 2018 - Pinotguy 93 Points
Regular price $28.00
From cult-y producer Walter Scott, a bit of an iconoclastic producer with chardonnay accounting for more than half of their production, comes their always-killer entry level pinot noir. The name can be interpreted as "The Green Valley" and is an homage to the late Patty Green, who aided the Walter Scott principals Ken Pahlow and Erica Landon during their earliest vinifications. This is a pure fruit play, with boisterous dark red and cool blue fruits buoyed by freshening acidity. The middle is packed, and the finish long. A grand bargain in every vintage, this is good now, but stuffed enough to develop well for years.
