I still remember going out to Elk Cove in the 1980s, to try the new La Boheme bottling of pinot noir with founder Joe Cambell. It was terrific, one of the very best in Oregon at the time. Now second-generation Adam Cambell makes the wine, and his work is informed by nearly forty years of family knowledge. Of course it's good.

From The Wine Advocate: "Produced using 50% whole clusters, the 2015 Goodrich Pinot Noir has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and a fragrant nose of red roses, Bing cherries and Provence herbs with hints of underbrush, lavender and damp soil. Medium-bodied, fine, fresh and delicately-played on the palate, it has a nice foundation of grippy tannins and very appealing freshness that continues through the long finish."
