"Top 100 Wines of the Year" Winner - Twice!
Here it is, the latest vintage of the Colene Clemens Pinot Noir Dopp Creek Estate! You remember this wine - the 2014 vintage was in the Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines of the year. And, so was the 2015 vintage, which also scored a whopping 95 points! Then, the 2016 vintage sold out in a matter of weeks, before any critics could even get their hands on a bottle - OPNC followers had first access to that vintage, at least while it lasted.
Now we can present the excellent 2017 bottling of one of Oregon's best values. Made by Beaux Frers alum Stephen Goff, this bottling is stuffed with pure pinot noir fruit and is already exceptionally drinkable, with layers of cool blue and dark red fruits, a supple texture, an expansive mid-palate with tiers of ripe fruit flavors, and a long finish. We have plenty right now, but this wine is now a "thing" and supplies won't last.
