Patricia Green Cellars
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Reserve 2018
Regular price $28.00
Pinotguy 93 Points
This entry-level pinot noir from winemaker Jim Anderson at PGC is basically a vinous give-away at this price. Think of it as a loss-leader. This is a blended with fruit from around Oregon, including many of the wineries prized single-vineyard sources. It has above-average concentration, and is already nicely layered and also quite lengthy. While approachable and enjoyable now, it should continue to improve in bottle for the next six months or up to 6-8 years.
The last few vintages have seen this wine awarded 93 points on a consistent basis, making it one of the best Quality-to-Price Ratio wines from Oregon. This 2018 bottling as at least as good as those past bottlings, and worthy of case buys.
