From Former Evening Land Winemaker Isabelle Meunier
I've referred to Evening Land a couple of times in this missive. If you liked those wines - and we all did - you should ask this question: Where did the winemaker go? The answer is Lavinea. Isabelle Meunier is turning out superb, finely structured and impecabbly balanced wines from several top vineyards for winery owner Greg Ralston, none better than this expressive bottling from one of Oregon's best vineyards.
From The Wine Spectator: "Dynamic and structured, with expressive smoky meat and black cherry aromas and layered dark plum, licorice and stony mineral flavors that persist toward well-buffed tannins. Drink now through 2025. 364 cases made.-TF""
