Goodfellow Pinot Noir Temperance Hill Vineyard 2017 -- Parker 93 Points
$40 / Bottle
Parker 93 Points
From Parker's The Wine Advocate: "This is the first time we've worked with Temperance Hill vineyard," says Marcus Goodfellow. "There are tons of different aspects, lots of rootstocks, various vine ages and trellising systems plus lots of unknown clones in the mix. These vines were planted in 1994." Pale to medium ruby, the 2017 Pinot Noir Temperance Hill has a lovely, broody nose of crushed blackberries, smoked meats, black cherries, tangerine peel, dried roses, amaro and dusty earth-lots of blossoming layers! It's light to medium-bodied with a silky texture and nuanced flavor layers, grainy and fresh with a long, nuanced finish."
